FINACIAL AID

We provide startup support, financial relief, and emergency financial aid to small business owners and families who need them. — it all makes a difference.

START-UP SUPPORT

WE ARE HERE TO IMPROVE THE FINANCIAL STABILITY OF STRUGGLING BUSINESSES AND STARTUPS.

Our financial aid program is advancing financial inclusion for struggling businesses and start-ups especially those in urban areas. With access to financial services such as start-up loans and grants, small business owners can create new opportunities for their children and communities.

Our main aim in expanding access to financial support to those who need it is to equip them with the needed resources to build their success. For instance, recognizing that many individuals lack good collateral to access loans, we are creating alternative models to help them qualify for low-interest loans or grants. Together, we make it easier for nano entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and save for the future.

FAMILY SUPPORT

WE WILL ENHANCE THE FINANCIAL SITUATION OF STRIGGLING OR NEEDY FAMILIES.

We support needy families in remote areas in Africa. With the availability of financial opportunities such as domestic support funds and soft loans, families can live a standard and resourceful life.

Broadening access to financial aid is about equipping people with the resources to build their own lives. For example, recognizing that many individuals lack credit history, our partners are creating alternative models to help them qualify for credit and secure low-interest loans. Together, we make it easier for families to save for the future.

Emergency funding

A vital part of our sponsorship programme is providing for children and their families in times of emergency. For vulnerable children in Ghana, life is incredibly unpredictable – illness, bereavement, and changes in home situations can occur at any time, which is why we ensure that a portion of each child’s support funding is kept for emergencies. When a sponsored child or their family experiences an emergency, this is reported to their assigned case worker who is appointed by the organization to facilitate the support needed for the family.

Children on our sponsorship programme have been able to receive funding for;

  • Accommodation following sudden homelessness, caused by bereavement, escaping abuse or trafficking, or their current living situation no longer being suitable.
  • Treatment for serious illness or diagnosis of long-term health condition that requires medication or therapy the family cannot afford.
  • Safe evacuation from a community or location that is under immediate threat from natural disasters or political unrest

Being able to take action for our sponsored children when they need emergency help is extremely important to us. In severe cases, our emergency intervention could mean the difference between life and death – and so we will always step in if we feel a child’s safety is at risk. Our Ghanaian programme managers are well trained specifically to provide us with regular updates on a child’s circumstance change
